Ocken Photography’s approach is simple. Fun and relaxing. We offer the flexability of location or studio sessions. For seniors we leave all the “cheesy props behind leaving room for the seniors true personality to emerge. Ocken Photography allows up to 4 outfit changes with unlimited time and locations. Ocken Photography’s approach to the family portraits and the “kiddo” portraits is to allow the natural personalities and relationships to emerge. We have the patiences to let things happen natural. We create photographs that are original to you and your family. Ocken Photography offers two types of maternity sessions. One is for the more reserved woman and the other involves a more artistic approach with fabric wraps. Bridal and engagement sessions are included in our wedding packages but, we can also photograph these for anyone who wishes. All portrait sessions include web viewing for all to see your amazing portrait session.

Bob was great. We had to reschedule because of threat of rain but it worked out because we had a nice day when we... actually had our photos taken. Bob was willing to work with me and my ideas. We were taking some family photos and my sons 1 year old pics. He was patient, even when my son was starting to get fussy. He tried his best to get my son to smile, did fairly well, but a 1 year old is unpredictable. My only suggestion for the future is if you have a baby or toddler in your pics, bring someone to help make them smile so Bob can focus on taking the pics. Othereise, pics turned out great. Would recommend!read more

It's extremely likely that I'm one of the more particular/needy clients Bob has worked with. We initially had our... family photos scheduled for a Saturday evening, but there was rain in the forecast, and Bob was 100% accommodating with our preference to reschedule to the following morning. He met us at the location and I was instantaneously comfortable with him - he's personable and down to earth while still entirely professional. I didn't feel silly or awkward, which is something I typically struggle with when I know I'm on camera! Our photos included a 10 year-old, and Bob was equally successful in making him completely comfortable. Following our session, Bob got the photos to me via email within hours (like, within three hours from the time we left). I was able to look through the gallery and pick our favorite photos, and from there, Bob met every retouching request I made. I literally made THREE different "favorites" albums when attempting to narrow down the ones we liked best. Bob was patient, communicative, and informative throughout that process, as I didn't know exactly what I needed to do, how many photos to choose, what type of retouching requests were applicable, etc. When I finally created the third and final album for him to work from, it was only a matter of hours before he had the final products returned to me! We will continue going to Bob for all of our future photo sessions - I couldn't be happier!read more

Bob was exceptional during our engagement photo shoot, and he made it incredibly fun. There was a 90% chance of rain... and he still captured us at our best!
