Bob sets new creative visions for brides in 2010. He is planning a photography book featuring 20 years of bridal portraits in Arkansas and around the world.
Timeless portraits are family treasures.
Napoleon’s mirror.
Shannon Duke looks into a mirror once belonging to Napoleon, the emperor of France. Her wedding is on New Years Eve and looks fantastic with the seasonal decorations.
Jumping for fall portraits in Arkansas
The weather is great and it’s time for fall portraits. Watch for holiday portrait posts soon.
This was taken of Elizabeth Bailey. She has a big bother, August, and has just gotten a new dog, Molly. Her brother was actually nice to her for the photo session, which might be why she is jumping for joy!

Bob’s Kids Portrait Gallery Coming Soon
Jake Black-Ocken wonders what his dad is doing. He thinks he has seen that black thing before but he’s not sure… I love photographing kids. I find them the very interesting and the most challenging subjects around. A new gallery of my fine art portraits of children is coming soon to bob.ockenphotography.com
Sweet Baby Catherine
Beautiful Catherine and her family recently enjoyed a photos session with Bob. The resulting images truly reflect her joyful personality!

CARTI Has a New Official Photography Sponsor
Ocken Photography in Little Rock has signed on to be the official photography company for CARTI fundraising events such as the Tour de Rock. This event falls right in line with Bob’s love of cycling. His family participates each year by riding their bikes more than 10 miles.
Bob in LA
Bob took a trip to Baton Rouge, LA (get it?) to photograph Rachel Robert and Chase Menard’s wedding at an amazing church. The St. Joseph Cathedral was originally constructed in 1789, and it was a pleasure to document a wedding in such a glorious structure. Their reception was held at the equally beautiful Old Governor’s Mansion, and Rachel made a stunningly beautiful bride.
